Toronto Island Engagement Session | Mara and Adam
Mara and Adam met us at the ferry terminal to head over to the Toronto island for an evening golden hour engagement session. I think Mara told me about 10 times before how "awkward" they were in front of the camera, but honestly, I think they rocked it! Once they realized I am a no pressure-little posing kind-of-gal, they seemed to relax and enjoy themselves! And thanks to Jess and Isaac for giving them some tips beforehand :)
We started out by just hanging out, playing silly little connection games that I like to use to relax my clients!
Then we found some dreamy creamy evening light filtering through the houses, complete with dusty sparkles. Here we posed a little but played a lot. How about a flirty game of cat and mouse? (Mara was the mouse in case you were wondering - it looks like Adam caught her though!)
We were having so much fun we just kept walking around the island, exploring! We winded down the session with some romantic beloved invitations - what that means is I give the couple a cue or invitation of something to talk about or do, and see what happens. In this case, they fell deeper into one another and enjoyed their time together, with lots of laughs and love!
Then...as we waited for the ferry to take us back to reality - the magic happened! The sun set over the city and my nervous couple danced away in front of many onlookers...amazing!
Mara and Adam I had a wonderful time and I cannot wait until your wedding at The Doctors House in November!
