I am blessed that Steph found me online and contacted me about her upcoming wedding to Rob. This wedding had it all - yet was so simple and intimate and perfect. Steph and Rob got ready together at the Forks of the Credit Inn, arrived together at the Alton Mill Arts Centre, waited with friends for an hour waiting for the party bus full of guests to arrive (it may have went the wrong way on the 401!). The ceremony was beautiful and the dark rainy skies added to the ambiance. The rain held out for us until portraits were finished and the happy couple met me outdoors for some more rainy portraits. Luckily Alton Mill has some cool old ruins that gave them shelter from the rain while I photographed them just being them. (Note to self - invest in a new raincoat - one that actually keeps me dry).
The reception was intimate, no speeches, no wedding party - just Steph and Rob being themselves among their kind family and rad friends.
