Liberty Grand Toronto Wedding | Christine and Tony

The engagement was less than a year, but this relationship has been sailing smoothly for a long time! (These two met through their love of sailing,  so that was my attempt at being "punny")

I have known Christine for years, we met though OUR love of synchronized figure skating and were teammates for a couple of years. I was honoured and so excited when Christine asked me to photograph her and Tony's wedding.  The whole day I was holding back tears of happiness. Its one thing to photograph the marriage of someone you just met, but when you actually know the person in front of your lens, its a whole new experience! I was just so happy for them all day!

We began the day getting ready with an amazing Toronto view, the guys got ready at the Distillery District apartment, then we met up at Philosopher's Walk, a cool park near the University of Toronto. Ive never photographed a first look in a public place and it was interesting having so many spectators! Some even followed us as we took portraits near the ROM (Royal Ontario Museum)!

All in all it was a beautiful fall day, some wind but it could have been cold the last weekend of October! We lucked out with a beautiful sunset and an outdoor ceremony in the Courtyard of the Liberty Grand .

Chris and Tony, thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me to capture your love and life and cheers to many years ahead! xo

Thank you to all the amazing vendors that took part in this wedding!
